RAM is committed to generating positive change in South Africa. We believe that we have a responsibility to change as many lives as possible for the better. That’s why we’re involved with Afrika Tikkun, a non-governmental organisation that cares for orphans and vulnerable children.
Afrika Tikkun has changed the lives of thousands of children with their Early Childhood Development (ECD) project. Recognising the importance of Afrika Tikkun’s vision and mission, the late Nelson Mandela became its Patron-in-Chief.
The Arekopaneng building in Orange Farm hosts Afrika Tikkun’s Early Childhood Development project, which cares for disadvantaged children. The children are given a safe haven, hot meals and loving care at the facility. They are taught literacy, numeracy and life skills.
RAM invested in the building of an extension to the Arekopaneng building. RAM entered into an Enterprise Development Agreement with AfrikaTikkun with the stated objective to empower communities to develop new generations of productive citizens.
